Dorothy Hardy

Dorothy Hardy was a illustrator of childrens books and was a  hunting  chromolithographer  of many hunting and racing prints in the style of Cecil Aldin and French artist Harry Ellotte,  Many of her prints were published with French titles,  Possibly she lived in France for a number of years as per her titles of  many prints she produced and had a French Publisher at the same time,  and then returned to  England Derbyshire.

Her English prints were published by the sporting publisher Lawrence and Jellicoe who was a leading publisher of the early 19th century of sporting artists.

Dorothy  Hardy  (1908- 1925) is recorded to have lived at Long Eaton Derbyshire in 1925
