Born in St Ives, Cornwall in 1962 where so many of the twentieth centuries most celebrated artists artists had chosen to live and work. It might seem inevitable that Sarah would one day pick up a paintbrush, however with a cosmopolitan childhood living in Brussels, Rome, Switzerland and France a career in heritage marketing on her CV her true calling only became apparent when Sarah reached her late thirties.
Having presented a water colour portrait of a child to a friend one Christmas, which she says was painted out of sheer desperation as a last minute gift. Sarah’s work was in demand almost straight away.
Equine and Canine Portraiture became her specialty and soon began to build a loyal following amongst field-sports equestrian fraternity in the UK. By 2004 word had spread oversees and commissioned paintings by Sarah now hang in private collections.
Sarah is a Associate Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists. Sarah exhibits regularly at several of the larger shows & game fairs across the UK as well as local equestrian & sporting events in the North West of England.
