Tom Ivester Lloyd ( 1871 – 1942 )
Tom Ivester Lloyd was a excellent artist who worked in water colours mainly but was also a very accomplished artist painting in oils. He served in the First World War and sketched produced records for the the Army which are now in the Army Museum.
He was a very keen Hunting man and was Master of The Sherrington Foot Beagles who hunted the country around Newport Pagnell in Bedfordshire and Nottinghamshire. He Painted many illustrations of Beagles Hunting and Fox hunting many paintings being hand colored.
He was a great hound-man and wrote various books with illustrations on his beloved Country sports.
